I don’t know why I have a weakness for photographing flowers. Maybe because they stand still when I take the image? :-) 

 

Kidding aside - studying flowers and plants is an exciting journey to make. To actually - for real - see how a flower really  looks like, which you’ll see if you get closer. Somehow flowers and plants are taken for granted and don’t get the attention they deserve.

I think it's the colors and shapes that are extremely interesting. How powerful flowers are, even if they are small. In fact, flowers are a mirror of all human emotions and I like to reflect that.

 

When I photograph flowers, I almost always lie on the ground and crawl. I want to be in the same level or a little from below to find the full splendor of the flower.
